While designing and building approx 50 Fleece-O-Matics over the last 1.5 years, I've heard many comments from customers. Most  Fleece O Matic customers have commented that they LOVE the ergonomic features , the "look" , quality and performance..... But, there are several hobbyists I have run into that have emphasized that they don't need the frills or the commercial grade capacity or ruggedness in a tumbler. They are more concerned about space and price.  Shipping costs were a major consideration during my design of the lightweight Bit O Fluff with collapsible basket and fold up stand. The Bit O Fluff represents my solution for the fiber hobbyist's needs.

The Bit O Fluff was designed as an affordable, functional, portable, lightweight hobbyist tumbler. Material weight and material costs were given the priority in this design. The Bit O Fluff was not designed as a high end show piece, but as a bare bones functional tool that can tumble 2 lbs of fleec, collapse and fold up for easy travel and storage.

Don
........"Yes we have used the Bit-O-Fluff, and it works well. Love the small footprint and the weight of it. Planning on using it outside on the deck of the studio, once I build the deck in the fall. Much to hot at the moment. Its a great little tumbler!"

This tumbler was designed for the small breeder or hobbyist fiber artisan who cares more about budget and space than  about productivity. Lightweight construction weighs ONLY 38lbs......inexpensive $695 (plus shipping)........cheap to ship around the world!!!!.......Simple to use......the  innovativeness that has come to be expected from the products produced at AlpacaRosa Farm.
The basket size is approx 28" diameter and 20" wide. I have tumbled 3lbs of suri fleece and 2 lbs of huacaya fleece at a time. It KNOCKS out those primaries and reduces your fleece micron to help allow you to make more VALUABLE products!
The absolute quietest and compact tumbler on the market today.
The stand folds up into a 12" x16" x8" box. The basket arrives to you in peices that require NO TOOLS for assembly. Just follow the easy directions and spend 30 minutes assembling and tightening the wing nuts!
